Floods in Pakistan

That Sure Pakistan has had many terrible and horny floods in its history. Floods usually happen with huge scale during the monsoon season , which starts in June , july and lasts until September October. Pakistan is at very high risk of flooding destruction because of its location and river system/Drainage .

The main and actual reason for flooding in Pakistan is heavy rain during the monsoon season. This rain. has thunderstorm causes rivers to overflow and their banks and limits to break. The big rivers in Pakistan, like the River Indus, Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, and Sutlej, located in punjab get a lot of water during this time, which raises the water level more  and leads to flooding .

Floods in Pakistan have a widespread and severe impact and posteffect. They can cover and destruct large areas of land with water, submerge villages and towns, ruin crops, damage roads and bridges. And force millions of people to leave their homes. The results  go beyond immediate damage and also affect the economy level,  agriculture crops, and the lives of the affected communities in the long run of flooding.

Poor Management

Floods in Pakistan become more worse and worsten because of deforestation, poor water management systems, bad urban planning, and people building too close to rivers. These factors and bad management make flooding worse and put communities and people lives at a higher risk.

When floods happen destruction occur , people lives get in danger then the Pakistani government, along with humanitarian organizations and international partners, helps the affected people. They evacuate and save people from flood-prone and affected areas, provide temporary shelter with good enough  food, clean water, and medical aid to the affected communities. They also work on long-term solutions that relieve flooding like building dams, reservoirs, and flood protection infrastructure to reduce and minimize the impact of future floods may lead to minimize flooding.

In general facts , floods in Pakistan happen often and cause big problems for the country's development and economy and the well-being of its people like damaging their homes , health and wealth. Efforts are being made and taken to improve how Pakistan prepares and be ready and responds to next coming or happened disasters. And to find ways, measure and procedures to lessen the devastating effects of floods to less destruction , equal to nothing and make vulnerable and honourable communities , societies stronger and Being health .

A tale of floods, we can't forget that.

The heavens wept, their tears did pour,

As nature's fury shook us to the core.

Oh, the rivers roared, and the waters rose,

A calamity that nobody chose.

Through the valleys and fields, the floods did sweep.

Homes and dreams, all swept away,

Families stranded, in disarray.

The lush green hills, now drowned in blue,

A haunting scene, forever in view.

Oh, the rivers roared, and the waters rose,

A calamity that nobody chose.

Through the valleys and fields, the floods did sweep.

But in the face of this daunting plight,

Communities stood strong, side by side.

Rescue and aid, a beacon of hope,

In unity, they learned to cope.

Yet, the road to recovery was steep,

As wounds of loss ran buried deep.

Livelihoods shattered, crops destroyed,

Yet, from the darkness, strength deployed.

Oh, the rivers roared, and the waters rose,

A calamity that nobody chose.

Through the valleys and fields, the floods did sweep.

With time and effort, the healing began,

Building lives anew, with a steadfast plan.

To mitigate, prepare for the days to come,

Embracing resilience, as one.

Oh, the rivers roared, and the waters rose,

A calamity that nobody chose.

Through the valleys and fields, the floods did sweep,

Let this tale of floods in 2023,

Remind us of the strength we can decree.

In KPK Swat, the spirit stood tall,

Together, we rose, though the rain did fall.
