PCB Changes for Asia Cup: Saud Shakeel has been named to Pakistan's squad for the Asia Cup.



Colombo, August 26, 2023: Pakistan has added to their roster for the Men's ODI Asia Cup 2023. Saud Shakeela left-handed batter, has joined the 17-man squad. The right-handed batter Tayyab Tahir will continue with the team as a traveling reserve.

About First Match in Multan

 The Babar Azam team will arrive in Multan on Sunday, August 27, and will relax the next day. The team management has given the players that competed in the Lankan Premier League some time off. Babar, Imam-ul-Haq, and Naseem Shah will fly to Lahore on Sunday and will join the team on Monday evening.

The players will practise at the Multan Cricket Stadium from 1630 to 1930 on Tuesday, August 29. The Pakistan captain will attend a pre-series media conference prior to the start of the session.

Pakistan will play Nepal in the tournament opener on August 30 at Multan.

Asia cup Schedule

The Asia Cup 2023 is scheduled to be held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka from 30 August to 17 September 2023. The tournament will be a 50 overs-ODI tournament , with all matches played at international standard venues.
