Broad spoke highly and obviously of Afridi's remarkable presence mind and energy while running in to deliver his spells. Noting that such attributes and good performance make the young Pakistan bowler a captivating and delightful sight on the cricket field.
The former pacer also went on to praise his natural skill.Particularly highlighting his ability to swing the ball back into the right-handers batsman. A trait that Broad finds particularly delightful to witness.

It is worth noting that the 23-year-old pacer is currently playing for Welsh fire in the ongoing The Hundred Men's Competition 2023 and has picked up three wickets at an average of 13.33 and economy of 8.00 and is also the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament as well.
