The Hundred 2023: Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf withdraw the competition midway through to focus on National Matches

As The Hundred event nears its halfway point, two cricketing stars, Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi, are bidding farewell to their respective teams to begin national service missions. In an increase of gratitude and friendships, both sportsmen took to social media to show their gratitude and support.


Rauf and Afridi each put on a display in six games while also turning in strong performances in The Hundred. With his best bowling figures of 3/27, Haris Rauf's fast bowling netted him five wickets at an average of 24.60 and an economy rate of 7.38. Shaheen Afridi's contributions, on the other hand, included six wickets and a best bowling average of 2/22.His average of 21.00 and economy rate of 7.56 reinforced his prowess on the field.

 Haris Rauf, noted for his explosive pace and wicket-taking abilities, expressed his appreciation in an emotional tweet: "It was great to experience this tournament!" @thehundred, thank you for having me. I was not able to stay till the final, but I hope my team @welshfire wins! "On to my next assignment!" Rauf's statements summarized his pleasant recollections and hopes for the prosperity of his squad.

Following suit, Shaheen Afridi, another well-known cricketer, expressed his appreciation for being a part of The Hundred: "It was a great experience with the Welsh Fire squad. Unfortunately, I have to leave midway but until next time." "Best wishes!" Afridi's post conveyed a sense of responsibility as well as excitement for what lies ahead. 

Former England legendry pacer "Stuart Broad" expressed his affection and regard for Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi. Hailing him as one of his favorite bowlers to watch in the world. 

Broad spoke highly and obviously of Afridi's remarkable presence mind and energy while running in to deliver his spells. Noting that such attributes and good performance make the young Pakistan bowler a captivating and delightful sight on the cricket field.


 Both players will now wear the national colors as they go on their next duties. Pakistan's cricket squad will play Afghanistan in a three-match One-Day International series from August 22 to August 26. This series works as a buildup to the Asia Cup 2023, a big event hosted equally by Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

 

 That was the day that Pakistani players are picked and poised to show their talent.  And now this is the day that they did their best and now Returning with pride and peace to do their National duties.The matches against Afghanistan Series that held on 22 to 26 Aug.
